On August 30, 1978, Tony Huesman received a life-saving heart transplant operation at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

Today, 30 years later, Tony Huesman is the longest living heart transplant recipient, and he has dedicated his life to The Huesman Heart Foundation - creating educational programs, establishing support groups, organizing fundraisers, writing books, setting up scholarship funds, and more! All of these initiatives are committed to the prevention of heart disease through the education of children.
