golf outing will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Sugar Valley Country Club.
Tournament Schedule
10 a.m. - Sign-in - Driving range and putting green open. Team photos.
11 a.m. - Shot Gun Start - Beer and soft drinks available at the Clubhouse and on the course throughout the day.
4 p.m. - Buffet Dinner - Door prizes. Presentation of "Lindy" Scholarship winners. Trophy presentations. Super Raffle drawing.
Tournament Format
- Four person scramble
- One shot per golfer - if you only have three golfers, you only get three shots!
- Mulligans will be sold during sign-in for $5 per golfer, limit one!
- Skirts (drive from the ladies' tee) will also be sold during sign-in for $5 per golfer, limit one. Sorry, gals, no help here.
- Skin's Game - $10 per foursome, win up to 1/2 the pot!
- Super Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the day, one for $10 or five for $25
- Awards will be presented in the following divisions:
- Men's - 1st, 2nd, 3rd
- Women's - 1st
- Seniors' - 1st
- Co-ed - 1st
- Huesman Hacker Award - forward nominations to Tony Huesman
- Hole #1 - Chipping contest/Women's Longest Drive (in the fairway)
- Hole #3 - One the green
- Hole #5 - Beat the host
- Hole #8 - Accuracy contest
- Hole #10 - Marshmallow drive
- Hole #15 - Women's closest to the pin (on the green)
- Hole #17 - Men's & Seniors' closest to the pin (on the green)
- Hole #18 - Men's & Seniors' - Longest drive (in the fairway)
Tournament Information
- We will only be playing ONE SESSION this year. Registration will be limited and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-paid basis.
- Sugar Valley Country Club has adopted a "SPIKELESS" policy on the course. No metal spikes will be allowed - please plan accordingly! Thank you.
- Appropriate golf attire is required
- Don't forget to bring extra cash to buy Mulligans, participate in the "skins" game, or double your winnings at the different "game" holes.
- ALL proceeds will fund youth heart health education programs, and $50 of each
golfer's fee IS tax deductible!

| The 2009 "Lindy" Nursing Scholarship The $1,000 "Lindy" Scholarship is in memory of Linda Huesman Lamb. Linda died in 1991, eight years after she received a heart transplant. Linda always admired and respected the many nurses who helped take care of her throughout her many years in and out of the hospital.
