Robert Anthony (Tony) Huesman
1957-2009
Tony Huesman, the longest living single graft heart transplant, died Sunday evening, August 9, 2009.
Following his transplant at Stanford University Medical Center in 1978, Tony dedicated his life to educating young children about heart healthy lifestyles. Through his work in the community, particularly through The Huesman Heart Foundation, Tony has touched nearly 250,000 children in the Dayton, Ohio/Miami Valley region. He will be greatly missed.
